Altar
The idea of building an altar and commemorating a space for an individual played a bigger significance when I attempted this project. I went to the site of this memorial and did a plein-air painting if what I saw. It was an attempt to make something more than just a painting and the attempt to connect with those that have had to install these markers up. June 2024
